This privacy policy aims to explain how GLOBAL SOFT processes your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter “the Regulation”) and the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended (hereinafter “the Data Protection Act”).

Why do we process your personal data?
We collect and process your data in order to respond to your requests.
Your data allows us to contact you to present our commercial offers, keep you informed about the evolution of our products, and depending on the form you completed, to register you for events organized by GLOBAL SOFT or trade shows in which GLOBAL SOFT participates.
Providing your email address allows us to send you commercial emails or newsletters regarding our solutions/products, and to invite you to participate in customer satisfaction surveys. If you no longer wish to receive our emails, you can unsubscribe at any time via the link provided at the bottom of our emails or by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
The personal data we collect may also be used for recruitment, commercial statistics, managing access requests, corrections, objections, and managing feedback from individuals regarding our solutions, services, or content.
What are your rights?
Depending on the processing and its legal basis, you can exercise the following rights granted by the regulations:

Who can access your personal data?
When GLOBAL SOFT is the Data Controller, different employees may access your data, including:
- The marketing department.
- The sales department.
- The administrative and financial department.
- The human resources department.
- These accesses are within their respective roles.
When GLOBAL SOFT is a Data Processor, the internal services and/or third parties authorized to access the data are specified in the contracts signed with its clients.
GLOBAL SOFT may share personal data with companies in the HARRIS Group for the purposes mentioned in this policy if necessary, especially for recruitment management.
How long is your data retained?
We commit to adhering to current regulations regarding the retention period of personal data.
If you opt out of our mailing lists, your personal data will be retained in our opt-out list for a period of three (3) years.
The retention period for personal data collected under a contract with GLOBAL SOFT is specified in the contract.
Personal data collected from unsuccessful candidates will be retained for a maximum of two (2) years after our last contact.
The personal data will then be deleted or archived for managing complaints, potential disputes, or to comply with legal and/or regulatory obligations or to respond to requests from authorized authorities.
Right to modification
GLOBAL SOFT may make changes to this Policy at any time to comply with modifications in the laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal data. We therefore advise you to regularly check this page for any updates or modifications to our Data Protection Policy.
